Most types of upholstery can’t just be sprayed, scrubbed and rinsed like carpets can.
Your upholstery is made from fine woven and dyed fabrics which need time and commitment in order to achieve excellent results.
The usual upholstery cleaning process for wet cleanable fabrics.....
For dry clean and delicate fabrics we can use a few alternative methods, we will discuss this with you at the time of quoting.
After an initial inspection to determine the type of fabric content and if there are any areas that may need special attention we thoroughly vacuum the upholstery to be cleaned
Then we apply a light spray of non-detergent upholstery cleaning solution. It's gently massaged into the fabric with either a soft horse hair brush, a microfibre mitt or a sponge. Then it's left to work it's magic
After approximately 10-15 minutes a special upholstery tool is used to rinse out the solution. This tool is much smaller than the carpet wand, it concentrates on rinsing and suction over a smaller area.
Lastly, after we've blotted the fabric to ensure no soiling is transferred, we brush it back into place. This helps with the drying process and resets the pile.
Your upholstery will normally be dry within 8-10 hours ( depending on the degree of cleaning required)
